Barack Obama paralleled in New Testament Scripture!

Posted by americana83 on August 17, 2008

Many of you have probably seen or heard about Obama’s performance in Rick Warren’s debate. I would like to draw attention to this part of that. Did you know a similar exchange occurred in the Bible? The context may be different but it is the first thing I thought of after I read Obama’s beautiful dodging maneuver (reminiscent of his dodging of votes on important or controversial issues…)

(Matthew 21:25)  The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?

(Matthew 21:26)  But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.

(Matthew 21:27)  And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

Now let me give you the BSV (Barack Substandard Version)

Obama 1:1 And the mediator asked: The rights of a child, from whence to they begin? And Obama reasoned with himself, saying, If I say “sometime after birth” I will lose the moderates and conservatives?

1:2 But if I shall say “at conception” I fear my party, moveon.org, the clintons, NARAL and NOW.

1:3 And He answered and said, “It is above my paygrade to have an opinion on such things.”

And thus it was continued, not in the so-called “new politics,” but in the politics of the old, for behold the answer given a controversial topic was like unto nothing, and it was.

    Obama is a whimp.
    I’m a hero and I say: Let’s bomb Iran!

  2. I suppose you think I am a whole-hearted jump onto the bandwagon and worship the Republican Nominee? Well, my friend I am not. However, your chosen screen-name really does make me wonder about the far-left’s ability to rebuke the (essentially moderate democrat) republican nominee. I believe both candidates will ultimately work towards this nation’s destruction, through the expansion of Government, continuing to insult legal immigrants by legalizing masses of criminals who already ignored our laws to get here, the whole-hearted acceptance of the global warming movement and the resulting forfeiture of sovereignty to international organizations that hate the US at heart, and the disregard for the vanguard of traditional American culture, the family.

None the less, thank you for reading.

Also, I am curious, what exactly does your comment have to do with my post? Are you critical of me for pointing out the absurdity of Obama’s Answer?
