Anita MonCrief: Beyond Blowing the Whistle on ACORN

It takes courage to stand up. Especially when it was something you had grown up believing in since childhood. But for Anita it came during Obama’s campaign, when she saw first hand that “her side” was cheating to get ahead, as if law was of no concern. It started her on a journey that has led to the total severing from organizations and a political party that she believed to be helping the downtrodden and voiceless. But how many of us have been charged with denying their culture, their heritage, merely because they decided that liberty was precious and that the freedom to innovate and earn ones own way would pull more people out of poverty than billions of dollars in government redistribution programs? Did you know that by today’s standards historic leaders like Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman and David Walker would be denounced? Reading their stories and works show that these were by and large God fearing men and women who laid it all on the line, NOT for a government handout, but for the chance to be a person- an individual, to have the simple rights laid out in the Declaration of Independence: Life – to live free, Liberty – to own themselves and their time, and the pursuit of happiness, the right to have the chance to buy a house, pursue a career, make a life for themselves! I’m sure these are ranks she would deny, but having heard Anita teaching, preaching and pleading for people to wake up and clean up our system and defend their freedoms, her spirit definitely puts her among these leaders.

It seems that there is a reason the progressives, typically headed by the Democratic party, have worked so hard to target the Black community is that Blacks in America are the least removed from the abject abuses of a state run amok, and were thus most capable of blowing the whistle on progressive intrusions on the liberties of all. The passionate spirit as in David Walker‘s Appeal had to be squelched. So the progressives, the communists, everyone in America with a desire for a totalitarian welfare state, targeted the Black community. Whether it was spiritual destroyers such as Rev Wright and Black Liberation Theology, or political destroyers, or the cultural usurpers, it was part of a push to make Black synonymous with progressive. Further, even president Obama, in his book Dreams from my Father, denies that cultural identity is a personal choice, denigrating a lady he calls Joyce because she refused to identify with political activities she didn’t want to identify with. Modern progressivism has some common ideological foundations with the slavery system.

#1. Man is an animal. Frederick Douglass hated being considered an animal, slaves were seen as mere animals. Today, progressives assert by and large that all men are animals, accidental byproducts of an unguided “process” called evolution. Evolved animals have no unalienable rights, because they have no creator. The slaver’s denial of black personhood is just as false as the “modern” progressive’s denial of personhood, of unalienable rights endowed by our Creator.

#2. Slaves have no right to private property. Slave owners owned everything used or possessed by the slave. Progressives likewise believe that private property, outside their own, is evil, that it stands in the way of “equality” and “progress.” They believe that it is okay to deny property rights for “the greater good.”

#3. Slaves had no right to the fruits of their labor. Some slavers were “generous” and sometimes let their slaves keep a pittance of the income from any extra work they did above and beyond the things assigned to them by their master. The master enjoyed the fruits of the labor of the slave, believing that the rewards of the slave’s labor rightfully belonged to him, the master. Progressives today revile private wealth, again with the exception of their own, which the super rich amongst the progressives sometimes shift to tax-exempt foundations like the Ford Foundation, the Carnegie Corporation, or the Rockefeller Brothers Foundation. They support “progressive income taxes” and believe that private wealth actually belongs to their government. They also support redistributing this wealth to people who did not earn it, but who none the less feel entitled to receive it.

#4. Slaves had no parental rights. The master owned any children brought into this world, and could separate families, sell children, or do whatever they wanted with any member of the family. Today, progressives fight against parental rights at every step, whether its the right of parental consent for abortions, mandated sex education in schools, and many other areas where the state usurps or attempts usurp the parent’s rights.

#5. Slaves had no right to pursue education. Educated slaves were dangerous to the slavers’ power structure. A slave that could read and write could learn and become independent and start longing for more freedom. The state of the public schools as the federal government has taken ever more authority over them should show how much progressives like the NEA value true education, preferring that students learn to feel good about themselves, exercise, use condoms, and that its cool for Heather to have two mommies.

#6. Slaves had no right to religion, namely Christianity. Slaves were only permitted snippets of the Bible, proof texts for embracing a life of servitude and slavery. A full knowledge of the liberty in Christ, that God is no respecter of persons, that all are one in Christ Jesus, was extremely dangerous, the slave might end up thinking that they too were created “in the image of God” and that they too were human. They might be inspired by the accounts of captives set free in the Bible. Today, the progressive is at war with “fundamentalist Christianity.” From the contents of David Walker’s Appeal, it is clear that a concise and face value understanding of the scriptures predates the label “fundamentalist,” and that such truth preached without compromise threatens tyrants and progressives. And so we have the war against God. God must be kicked out of every public square, the 10 commandments removed and repealed (so to speak, the folly of man who think they can revoke divine law), and any religious critique of the culture or government must be silenced. Of course they also have their counterfeit religion, led by people like Jim Wallace and Dr. James Cone, who preach a collectivist gospel that is so much like communism, the Communists are willing to partner with such churches as Trinity United Church of Christ to spread communism among the Black community! Even today, we can see how slavery can sneak up on a people in the words of scripture.

Of course the chief difference between the two ideologies is that of private ownership. Under slavery, individuals owned other individuals. Under progressivism, the individual is “owned” by the state. The state has right to his person, his children, his property, his wages.

One other difference is that the slavers embraced a distorted creation account, somehow factoring that Black persons were not people. They had to cringe when the 3/5th’s compromise identified slaves as “3/5ths of all other PERSONS.” Progressives embrace the hypothesis set up by Charles Darwin that man is an animal with no creator, the byproduct of some unknown accidental process spanning billions of years. Thus many have no problem with things such as abortion, euthanasia, and early progressives like George Bernard Shaw had no problem with committing genocide on those who could not “justify their existence.” They have no problem lying to prove their case, and they are doing just that when they pose as the defenders of the rights of minorities. And that’s the kicker, they don’t even believe individuals have unalienable rights. They seek to accumulate wealth and power while suppressing a people, giving them only collective identities and enough pottage in exchange for the chance to legislate away the very freedoms fought for so fiercely by people like Tubman and Walker. They prattle away, claiming that those fighting for individual liberty are using race as a wedge, when these progressive leaders are the very ones driving the wedge. Because they know this truth: United We Stand, but divided we will fall.

What to look for in a presidential candidate, or any candidate for any office.

I’ve been accused of looking for a “perfect” candidate. However, I am merely looking for someone who will actually move us in the right direction. The “right direction” can roughtly be broken down in to 10 areas, many of which are somewhat interlinked, but still worth noting separately:

Budget reduction: Does a candidate actually specify things which he would work to have cut. “streamlining” or “eliminating waste” sounds really good, but ANY candidate should be doing that, and in light of the massive federal budget, this only ever amounts to a few drops in the bucket, and it almost never gets done.

Redacting Green agenda: Does a candidate seek to curtail carbon emissions? If so, they are uninformed about global warming and are a serious threat to economic and personal liberty.

End Abortion: Often sidelined as a “social issue,” abortion actually should actually be at the center of the fight for constitutional rights. The Declaration of Independence cited the unalienable right of Life first, and that is proper, because without life, you can neither exercise liberty or pursue happiness. Abortion was forced on an entire county by an activist Supreme Court in direct violation of the Bill of Rights: No personal shall be deprived of LIFE, liberty or property without due process of law. Congress could remove the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court on the matter and return the issue of abortion to the states. A candidate that encourages that and/or which works to remove federal funds from paying for ANY abortion would be helping to move this issue forward.

Reducing the Size of government: Does a candidate have an agenda that involves cutting the size of government in some concrete way, such as reigning in the EPA, eliminating the federal department of education, eliminating federal entitlement programs (like free cell phones), vetoing any budget that includes any money to enact ObamaCare/signing any legislation that repeals ObamaCare? Any candidate can, and probably will talk about “big government” and how bad it is, but do they back up this talk with a plan for action? No candidate who supports laws banning so-called raw milk or Edison’s light bulb can be said to be concerned about the size of government- unless their concern is that it’s too SMALL!

Educational choice: Is the candidate committed to getting the federal government out of education? Eliminating the federal department of Education, eliminating grants? Education has declined in quality in America as the federal government has taken it over more and more.

Debt reduction and the Federal Reserve: Will the candidate veto any budget that includes debt ceiling increases, or deficit spending? Will he work to pare down the executive branch of the government of which he is head? Will he support a sound money program that seeks to restore proper money, the kind of money we had when America was a creditor and not a debtor nation? The kind of money we had when the dollar became the “world reserve” currency?

Health Care freedom: Is the candidate committed to protecting the rights of doctors to own hospitals (as ObamaCare bans)? Is he committed to pulling the government out of healthcare? Will he promote a plan that opts this and future generations out of mandated programs (paying medicare and Social security taxes, etc, while providing means to protect those who were forced under penalty of law to invest in these programs?

Gun rights:Is the candidate committed to supporting the right to bear arms along with the other rights in the constitution? Does he support gun grabs, registration, waiting periods, or so-called assault weapons bans? If he does, then he does not support the second amendment. It should be noted that Adolph Hilter supported full gun registration in National Socialist (NAZI) Germany. Only a dictator fears an armed populace.

Illegal Immigration: Does the candidate endorse “comprehensive immigration reform” or “guest worker programs to legalize those here illegally” or any form of amnesty? If so, then he does not oppose illegal immigration. It should be noted, that if a candidate supported and promoted serious reforms like those mentioned above, that illegal immigration would be greatly deterred. A president that cuts off federal money to cities in general will also go a long way in undermining so called “Sanctuary cities” because they will be forced to rely entirely on tax money extorted from their own people to pay for illegal aliens. A president that refuses to get in the way of a state that is actively seeking to solve its own illegal immigration problem would get a positive rating on this, and it could create an environment where other states would be willing to enforce the laws without getting sued by a government that refuses to protect them from an invasion. Radical Chicano groups support the idea of seizing the southwest US by mass immigration.

Foreign Affairs: Is a candidate dedicated to pursuing America’s interests? Will they oppose using any federal tax dollars for foreign aid? Will they remove America from harmful progressive international treaties? Will they work towards removing us from the UN and from supporting it with our tax dollars and troops? Will they speak out against and oppose Kyoto and other treaties designed to strangle American businesses? Will they speak out against and oppose any and all treaties that would harm our second amendment rights, or any other rights? Will they speak out against “climate debt” or other globalist scams designed to redistribute wealth and induce guilt because of success. Is the candidate willing to go to war on behalf of the UN? Is the candidate willing to go to war without having a congressional declaration of war? If the answer is yes, then the candidate has no respect for the separation of powers or the danger of “entangled alliances” like the UN which pit our interests against the interests of socialists and other kinds of dictators.

Constitutional fidelity: the above tenants basically embody this one, and all would move America towards a limited government like that in line with what the founders intended.

All of these tentants rely on one more thing, and this will determine their honesty even if they profess adamant support for any or all of the preceding items:

Time Frame: When does a candidate intend to start taking concrete steps towards the above goals? Within 10 years? 15? Any candidate that does not pledge to take steps in his first term of office is in fact pledging to do nothing. Some glitzy “waste reductions” and speeches and more and more promises will mean nothing. Passing a budget that starts to reduce spending “by 2016″ or some future date is committed to doing nothing now. Unfortunately, by passing the ball to a future year, the candidate has no responsibility to work on it now. Further, he could get replaced and his promised future reforms overturned. I don’t care if a candidate pledges to cut the budget by 25% by 2020, I care what they do NOW to accomplish these goals. Talking about future actions and making promises that extend to future congresses or presidencies is just foolish. They can no more guarantee their reelection than they can promise a sunny day on July 4th this year. (At least so long as we maintain free and fair elections).

I will not endorse a candidate who is not moving forward on these agenda items in some tangible way. Where do candidates like Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich fall on these issues? It should be fairly obvious by now that they intend either to continue the status quo, or continue to drag us farther from these goals. Do not endorse a candidate just because “they are electable.” It doesn’t matter how electable they are if they indulge in the status quo or take us even farther down the road to serfdom.

Sherrod Brown, YOU LIE!

I am responding to Sherrod Brown’s letter in today’s edition of the USA Today blasting the tea party.

I am ashamed this man is “representing” me in the senate… Lie after lie spills from his mouth as he seeks to bolster the image of progressivism. He neglects in his brief “history lesson” to mention that progressives helped elevate eugenics to public policy, that the last remaining klansman in federal office, Byrd died in office only this year, that his party fought against both abolition and ending Jim Crow. He neglects to mention that progressives elevated Margaret Sanger’s RACIST eugenics project planned parenthood, which has decimated the Black population, which was actually far short of her original intent. Progressive ideologies have wrought nearly insurmountable debts and deficits. I also don’t understand why he doesn’t thank the progressive elements in the Republican party (also known as RINOS) who not only defended progressive federal departments from the “Contract with America,” but exploded their size and budgets! And the worst elements to take place under the Bush presidency (bailouts and spending) were pages torn right from the progressive democrat’s playbook.

The mass movement of the tea party (and not the pseudo cons trying to co opt it ) wants to restore freedom and roll back the bogus “consumer” protections that will only serve to raise costs and reduce competition, EXACTLY like the so called health care reform, which we also want to repeal.

Sherrod Brown, it is you who does not like America. It is you who is mortgaging our future to build your “progressive” “working class paradise.” Like every other attempt at doing such a thing, whether in the USSR or in some South American countries, it will ultimately fail economically, and it will fail utterly at each of the promises it makes. Social Security? Medicare? Amtrak? Which of the extra-Constitutional big government elements do you want to point to that has actually come in under budget, and is not either hemorrhaging money or full of IOUs?

Sherrod Brown, you don’t fear big government because your at the helm of it. You don’t fear it because you haven’t heard the voice of LEGAL immigrants tell of the terrors of an absolutist states of all stripes. You must never have actually went to a tea party or a 9/12 meeting or even a JBS meeting. You have no clue from your position of prestige and power what us “little people” are thinking.

Sherrod Brown, you have no concept of separation of powers, states rights, or ANY constitutional law whatsoever, at least as far as your words and actions portray. If you do know, what a shameful and deceitful thing to knowingly violate the oath of office to “uphold and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.” Surely you know that not all enemies of freedom are external, and surely you know that not all of them fight with swords and bombs. Some fight with pens and some with congressional votes, railing against freedom and voting to surrender and turn over things that they have NO RIGHT to turn over or surrender or EVEN TOUCH!

Your leader has talked of the right side of history. You my friend, are coming down on the wrong side of history. You and your comrades are working to dismantle the safeguards our founders put in place to prevent Americans from being subjects again, to prevent our substance from being consumed and distributed by those who think they are so much wiser than us, so much more enlightened, so much more charitable. Indeed, there has never been a more noble band of thieves, for how easy it is to be charitable with the treasures and livelihoods of others! You should be reminded such thievery and schemes only work so long as there are other people from which to transfer wealth from.

So you keep fighting to build up ever more power for you and your comrades. Just don’t expect those of us to sit idly by and let your attempts to micromanage our lives go unchallenged. We will fight you on the battle field of ideas. We will advance freedom while you cling bitterly to your progressive schemes and hold your sham town halls. We will fight to give people the right to pursue happiness, without having some bureaucrat come along and STEAL that which they neither labored for nor deserve to give to those who neither toil nor deserve, in exchange for their votes bought with stolen goods. Sherrod you cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. Neither can you lift people up by keeping them in government dependence. I urge you to look into the life story of Starr Parker.

Sherrod Brown, it was people like you who weaned Americans off that spirit of rugged individualism; people like YOU that coddled and pushed and prodded to get them to take government subsidies. In short it is people like YOU who destroyed one of those things which made America exceptional, which made us so resilient as a people! All this while your ideological ancestors in the early 1900s worked to transform churches that preached individual salvation in Christ to a collective “social justice” salvation, and still others taught the founding fathers were rich elitists, that America was a democracy, not a republic, that the Constitution needs to change.

Sherrod Brown, you are ignorant of what the John Birch Society is. It was founded to help bolster the attack against what was then a growing threat of communism. Have you read the Communist press? Did you see the One Nation Working Together Rally’s list of sponsors, who all signed on to support “the change we voted for?” A veritable Who’s Who of openly communist organizations signed on as sponsors! And this is 2010! And they are standing with you and the president! And you say that we do not like America? Who was it that used fear of economic destruction to force “stimulus” on us? Who was it that used fear of “greedy doctors” hacking off extra body parts in pursuit of that “most evil thing of all,” profit? And the Communists and Socialists were there, cheering you on. Yes, Mr Brown, a person like you MUST hate and destroy groups like the John Birch Society and the Tea Party, they stand for everything you abhor: freedom, limited government, constitutional law; and fight everything you love: Unconstitutional entitlement programs and departments; and illegal laws that violate our Constitutional rights. You’re barbed attacks may well be self-defeating, as the Tea Party and 9/12 Projects and the Birch Society are working tirelessly (you might say community organizing if that makes it more understandable) to activate and educate voters in Ohio and across the country on Constitutional principles and that our unalienable rights are not granted from the government, but bestowed upon us by our Creator. Your attempt to deceitfully and ignorantly slander the JBS doesn’t have anything to do with the Constitution Party Candidate, Robert Owens, who stands poised to upend the status quo in Ohio does it? The JBS, tea party and the 9/12 movement share far too much common ground to be set against each other. Ohio will continue to organize, and it will continue to be to your detriment.

You, Sherrod Brown are a political heir to Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt, the political figureheads who first helped to bring about “redistributive change” as a matter of federal policy. It was those figures whose domestic policy so arrogantly and deliberately stepped beyond the protective bounds of the Constitution, and politically beat into submission those who resisted (as the Supreme Court at the time did so valiantly until subdued). If left unchecked, Sherrod Brown, it is “proud progressives” like you and Mary Jo Kilroy who will preside over the demise of the Republic known as the United States of America. And that will definitely be the “wrong side of history.”

I hope you continue to cast your misguided stones, Mr Brown, for you are living in one of the largest glass houses in Ohio.

9/12: Reflections on a Christian Nation

Today as many of my compatriots descend on the capital city to assert the economic aspects of the American restoration I will be staying home and celebrating a special Sunday at my home church (the church I attend regularly), celebrating the blessings God has bestowed on us.

In addition to political action, we must return to our roots. Just as God has blessed my little church, He has blessed this great country. I hope that as we reflect on the meanings of 9/12, the coming together, the call for restoration in our political institutions, and those who lost their lives unexpectedly on the dark day of 9/11/01, that we reflect on the power and mercy of God, who strengthens us to persevere through the hard times and the bloody trials of this life. Who has blessed us with freedom in this life and who offers eternal freedom through Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of all true liberty. Our institutions will never be sanctified with truthfulness and will never submit to the rule of law and transparency until We the People revive and return anew to the Author of Liberty.

One of the things that has made America a “Christian nation” is the fact that the government from its inception has echoed the Old Testament prophet’s call: “Choose this day whom ye will serve.” The Christian nation does not need to force people to convert, or compel them to do so. The God of the Universe did not compel Adam and Eve to obey him! How much less can any government or institution force people to convert or compel them to religious service if even the God of the Universe gives the choice? Religious compulsion is thus an affront to the laws of nature and nature’s God!

They are ignorant or malicious who attempt to paint a “Christian nation” as a theocracy or Iranian-styled Islamic dictatorship. The political-religious control over Europe in the dark ages that ordered people burned at the stake, even for such things as translating the Biblical Scriptures into English or other common languages!, were not acting on the principles of God, but on the principles of totalitarianism- the opposite of God’s call to the people to “study to show thyself approved” and “choose this day whom ye will serve.”

Modern nations founded on either atheism or some other militant faith try to compel at threat of execution or family torture or enslavement or 2nd class citizenship the citizenry to accept and adhere to their doctrines. One only need look at nations such as Iran and China and North Korea to see such compulsion in action.

Thusly our founders did manifest a “Christian nation” in that they left it to the people to seek out their own salvation, to study the scriptures and find God, or to not. Faith can never be compelled or forced. God gives us the option to choose Him. No government has the right to take that choice away. No nation can be saved- salvation is of the individual, but a nation can be sanctified. A nation can stand for righteousness. A nation can safeguard the freedom of its people to worship according to the dictates of their consciousnesses.

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Lead us not into damnation: Reflections on David Walker’s Appeal to the Coloured Citizens of the World

David Walker, (September 28, 1785 – June 28, 1830), saw in his day the utter wickedness of a nation that treated men as animals. His pamphlet, David Walker’s Appeal To the Coloured Citizens of the World, is a biting no-holds-barred attack not only on the institution of slavery, but on the Christian church which upheld and defended the barbarism. His anger towards white slaveholders and their enablers was rooted not in racial hatred, throughout he pleads for their repentance, but in righteousness. He believed that the continuation of the abomination of slavery (which included not only the actual bondage but forbidding those who were slaves from praying or worshiping the Lord!) would lead to the utter desolation and destruction of the United States of America. He plead for divine justice and was from all appearances an angry biblical fundamentalist screaming at the top of his lungs against an abomination that was spiritual, moral and political. Ever growing numbers of Americans accepted (whether directly from his pamphlet or the growing abolitionist movement it helped inflame) a call to repentance and arms against the abomination of slavery. Even then, America was on the brink of destruction, brother against brother and father against son, American against American. By heeding the call to repentance, America was spared, even though it was by fire.

God is not afraid to judge the nation that falls into gross sin and refuses to repent. Every man should TREMBLE at the thought of God’s justice and his high standard, so high that He had to send His Son to fulfill it that sinful man could gain salvation! We are a nation that shrinks back from judging ourselves, lest we appear “holier than thou.” David Walker was NOT AFRAID of MAN! He saw wickedness and condemned so harshly, that the slavers put a bounty on his head. He was unafraid to judge because, he knew that he would be judged in the manner in which he himself judged, and he judged with a righteous standard. Today we are so callous and so fearful to be labeled judgmental that we fail to tell even our friends when they slip into evil. EVIL will destroy a man! DO we not love our own friends and families enough to warn them of impending doom? God is not slack concerning his promise: you REAP what you SOW! Is it better to be warned in life, or in death, when the destruction is irreversible!

Our nation, under the “leadership” of Obama calls evil good and good evil. He issues proclamations dedicating entire months to exalting sexual perversion! Does not the Scripture say: Righteous exalts a nation but sin is a REPROACH to any people! WOE to them that call good evil and evil good!

Under his rule America, already a nation in debt, bends over backwards to spend us into bondage! Does not the scripture say that the debtor is SERVANT to the lender!

Under his rule and with the consent of congress, houses are devoured for a PRETENSE! The substance of the many is STOLEN and CONSUMED! By degrees is a FREE PEOPLE being led into BONDAGE! Our nation’s godly inheritance is being eaten up by VAIN and EVIL men. Like the Pharisees of old they proclaim their own goodness in the public square, but are inwardly sepulchers full of death! They commit THEFT in the name of CHARITY! They ignore the law and extend by their lust for power and greed the scope of government. They set taxes by a false balance to further enable THEFT. By LIES and DECEIT they create false disasters and through fear and ignorance lead people to trade their GOD GIVEN liberties for bondage. The UN, AL GORE, OBAMA, McCAIN, and even NEWT GINGRICH have bought into or peddled for filthy lucre the LIES of GLOBAL WARMING! Just LOOK at the SO-CALLED solutions offered! They all involve economic SLAVERY and ENDLESS government intrusion into our PRIVATE lives! Very little mention of GOOD STEWARDSHIP of the earth, which God gave us the authority OVER. We are not to be SERVANTS or SLAVES to the EARTH, but the earth was made FOR US! Howbeit that the very air we EXHALE, which is ESSENTIAL for plants should be labeled POLLUTION by vain men who PUBLISH LIES in lieu of the inconvenient truth that CO2 is beneficial and biologically ESSENTIAL for LIFE as it as been DESIGNED!

IRONICALLY, it is in the name of PRIVACY and LIBERTY that some of these same people peddle the BLOODY genocide that is Abortion! Obama is LOVED by Planned Parenthood, an organization that is swift to profit from hands that SHED INNOCENT blood! His rescinding of the MEXICO CITY POLICY enabled OUR money to go to the clinical SLAUGHTER of INNOCENT FOREIGN children. OBAMA has blood on his hands! As it is done to the least of these, will it not come back on our own heads? It is an abomination! God will not idle forever. How long will he extend us grace to repent? HOW LONG? Did not the evil committed by IRSAEL’S ancient kings return upon the heads of the children of ISRAEL? For was it not them that wanted the king? They chose bondage, even though the WORDS of GOD’s OWN PROPHET told them EXACTLY what would happen! Men CHOSE bondage!

How were people so dense to support a man who wanted to FUNDAMENTALLY TRANSFORM AMERICA? Could they not see that the fundamentals of America consist in a basic belief in CHRISTIAN principles, in laws that protect the rights of individuals to life, liberty and property? In the rule of law? Deaf and dumb, like sheep before the slaughter, they fell for his nebulous promises, his call to make GOVERNMENT into GOD, to attempt to make everyone completely DEPENDENT on the GOVERNMENT for ALL THEIR NEEDS! Does not the Bible say that GOD will supply your needs? Is there not a faithful witness to EVERY GENERATION that feeds the POOR, cares for the SICK, and seeks out for the least of these? VAIN men that pledge to FEED ALL, CLOTHE ALL, PROVIDE ALL for ALL, heap unto themselves as near absolute power as mortals can obtain and then USE that power to oppress, to murder, to stamp out ALL DISSENT! Remember Hitler? Remember STALIN? PEACE BREAD LAND! Was the cry! From each according to his ABILITY, to each according to his NEED! Was that not the professed motto? How the fools followed after them, without realizing that most men are capable of producing above and beyond their needs, that a government which could enforce the maxim would be COMMITTING THEFT and oppressing the masses! By decree our current politicians seek to “spread the wealth around” namely from the people to the rulers. OBAMACARE does it, wall-street “reform” does it! the STIMULUS does it! McCain’s supplement bill will do it! HR2749 “Food safety enhancement act” would do JUST THAT!

We are forfeiting our GOD-GIVEN rights and turning all of our decisions over to others! Thou sluggard! Does government follow GOD? Is that the responsibility of GOVERNMENT? Nay, it is YOURS! You’re duty to make decisions for yourself! It is a duty, but it is also your RIGHT! Government says, thou shalt not eat salt or transfats, but thou mayest MURDER your CHILD! After all, the president doesn’t want his own children PUNISHED with a baby! Thou shalt buy healthcare, but thou shalt not own a gun to defend thyself! Governments at all levels have been given over to lavish corruption! Men of GOD have forsaken their duty to preach the FULL COUNSEL of GOD! To tell everyman thus sayeth the LORD! THOU SHALT BE SALT AND LIGHT IN THE EARTH! Not locked away in the stained glass worship center, but IN THE EARTH! We are to be IN IT not OF IT! Two totally different things! The gospel of salvation in Christ with it brings the POWER to transform lives! The power to FREE the drunkard from his drunkenness, to FREE the tax collecter of his wicked deceits, to LIBERATE the liar from his falsehoods!

SEE WHAT THE LORD GOD SAID would happen to Israel if they forsook HIM God is not only a God of blessings, but of cursings. Got HATES evil!

But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field. Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store. Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out. The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me. (Deuteronomy 28: 15-20)

God raised us up, a wretched and miserable people, from the bondage of colonization and oppressive rulership. Though not without sin, God shone favor on us as a nation, and lifted us up in the face of impossible odds! Through the shedding of blood, by God’s grace we overcame one of America’s greatest national sin: Slavery, whereby man was transformed into a barbarian APE without soul or worth to be trodden on by others no better (if not worse than he).

Irony has come full circle. Now, the INTELLECTUAL GIANTS of our day tell us we are monkeys! That we are nothing but animals, the insignificant consequence of a natural billion year accident! David Walker was indignant when the INTELLECTUAL GIANTS of his day declared that the men from Africa were akin to monkeys! The reasoning is the SAME! THE SAME! Bondage! Men are NOT FIT for SLAVERY: Men WILL NOT STAND for SLAVERY! They have no QUALMS about animals being enslaved or dominated! That is the EVIL behind this SCHEME! If we think ourselves to be mere animals, HOW can we COMPLAIN when we are treated like animals, to be led about by the nose? We are disestablished from our CREATION in the IMAGE of GOD and relegated to the image of beasts! WHAT of NATURAL RIGHTS then? THEY FORBID to discipline CHILDREN! They herd them into GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS to be taught there is no absolute truth, NO RIGHT or WRONG, that man is just an ANIMAL! Then, there is surprise when OUR CHILDREN ACT LIKE ANIMALS!

John Adams, George Washington and many other great leaders from the founding period KNEW that RELIGION and MORALITY were indispensable supports for SELF-Government, that if we lost those good things, we would be fit for nothing better than TYRANNY. Beasts CANNOT self govern. Do not those who are letting our cities and our people decay so miserably KNOW that? Could not TYRANNY be the ends to these perverse means of telling and training men to be as ANIMALS?

The LORD shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it. The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish. (Deuteronomy 28: 21-22)

And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron. (Deuteronomy 28:23)

The LORD shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed. (Deuteronomy 28:24)

The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. (Deuteronomy 28:25)

And thy carcass shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall frighten them away. (Deuteronomy 28:26)

The LORD will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed. (Deuteronomy 28:27)

The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart: (Deuteronomy 28:28)

MADNESS! Has not our nation been smitten with madness and blindness! EVERY SIN has become a “disease!” Did not Tiger Woods go to sex THERAPY? Adultery itself is now a DISEASE, though our entertainment centers PUSH it as more of a NATIONAL PASTIME! LOOK at the philosophy of EVIL that provides the underpinning for utter MADNESS, as expounded by Chester M. Pierce, MD a PROFESSOR of EDUCATION and Psychiatry at HARVARD:

Every child in America entering school at age 5 is mentally ill because he comes to school with certain allegiances to our founding fathers, toward our elected officials, toward his parents, toward a belief in a supernatural being, and toward the sovereignty of this nation as a separate entity. Its up to you as teachers to make all these sick children well– by creating the international child of the future.

THAT is madness! That was all the way back in 1973, and we ARE REAPING the fruits of that kind of psychology. It is not about HELPING the mentally OPPRESSED, it is about DESTROYING what made this nation great, destroying the concepts of individual freedom, the foundational belief in GOD! WOE TO THEM THAT CALL GOOD EVIL! Dr. Pierce is a preacher of EVIL.

What basic psychological distortion can be found in every civilization of which we know anything? ENTIRE denominations wholly given over to the promotion and exaltation of sexuality, of worshiping and serving the CREATURE more than the BLESSED CREATOR! Churches that embrace and promote sexual perversion, gambling, adultery, greed, lust, and other wickedness while CASTING OFF the GOSPEL OF SALVATION in Christ Jesus ALONE, forsaking the call to RIGHTEOUSNESS and holy living! GOD IS HOLY! GOD IS LOVE, BUT GOT IS HOLY! God HATES evil!

CHRISTIANS, Americans, do not be deceived! Psychology is NOT a substitute for CHRIST, neither are drugs going to solve MORAL ILLS! Psychology considers belief in GOD himself a MENTAL CONDITION! It is insanity to BELIEVE IN GOD! How can anything built on such a foundation bring forth GOOD FRUIT?

And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee. Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build a house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof. We have SOLD our future generations into servitude! Vain and aspiring men have risen to power, and mean to bring us LOW! The borrower is SERVANT to the LENDER! How shall a FREE nation remain so when it begs the bread of its DEFICIT SPENDING from totalitarian nations? Does COMMUNIST CHINA embrace freedom? Is it founded in a belief that God CREATED man with INALIENABLE RIGHTS? Nay! It was founded in the opposite doctrine: that GOVERNMENT is the author of privileges that may be revoked without reason, though ostentatiously for “the greater good.” DISSENT is equaled to TREASON. And those who seek to worship the LORD in SPIRIT and in TRUTH are OPPRESSED mightily. We are NOT immune. For if we allow our nation to continue in the path it is taking, oppression WILL COME HERE! Do not be deceived, OUR LEADERS DO NOT HONOR GOD, how on earth do you expect them to HONOR a PIECE OF PAPER called the “BILL OF RIGHTS”. EVERY ONE of those rights is predicated on the belief that GOD is the AUTHOR of LIBERTY, of “inalienable rights.” THAT is what makes this nation a CHRISTIAN NATION! Not the establishment of a national church, NOT the mandating of a religious background, but the DEDICATION of this COUNTRY to GOD, in grounding the LAW of OUR LAND in the INALIENABLE RIGHTS granted man by GOD. ALLAH does not grant them! No OTHER GOD grants them. There is but one, and that is the GOD of the BIBLE! It is thus true that America is a CHRISTIAN nation! To FORCE religion would make us an UNCHRISTIAN nation: for even the prophet of GOD said, “CHOOSE this day WHOM YE WILL SERVE!!!!!” God HIMSELF PROCLAIMED it is the LIBERTY of MAN to CHOOSE whether to believe in HIM! Thus may compulsory or FORCED conversion be DAMNED as a doctrine of SATAN!

He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail. (Deuteronomy 28:44)

Fellow Americans, think that Government is your provider, to give you things which you have not worked for? Think you that it is your RIGHT to possess someone else’s goods? To seize from others SERVICES which they must provide you? The government becomes your master, for as certainly as it STOLE the substance which it gave unto you, it has absolute mastery over YOUR LIFE! YOUR CHILDREN! It is a deceitful snare, for you rejoiced in the fruits of another’s labor when they were provided to you, do you not think that there will be another to REJOICE when they are stolen again from you, who neither worked or sweated to gain them?

Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee: And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed forever. Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; (Deuteronomy 28:45-47)

Fellow Americans, are you serving the LORD with gladness? Are you practicing pure religion, tending to the fatherless and the widow? Do you lift up your voice in prayer for your nation, for the UNSPEAKABLE blessings even the LEAST among us in this nation have been granted?

Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee. The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young: And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed: which also shall not leave thee either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of thy kine, or flocks of thy sheep, until he have destroyed thee. And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone. And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind: And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life: In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see. You say that was ancient Israel! Is not God the same YESTERDAY, TODAY and FOREVER? If GOD punished EVIL in a NATION then, shall he not do it now? Jesus Christ came to fulfill the law, not to destroy it. Israel was led into bondage in Egypt, her greatness DESTROYED, her children seeking for a DELIVERER which came about only after great oppression! TAKE HEED AMERICA! Let us learn the lessons of HISTORY with diligence! Let us cast off ALL MANNER of EVIL from within our OWN HEARTS, that we may be able to see and remove the speck from our neighbor’s eyes, or the beams which BLIND our LEADERS! Per adventure God has not finished with America, let us PRESS FORWARD with resolve, let us STAY A COURSE of righteousness.

If we choose the LESSER of two EVILS, do NOT be deceived that some EVIL will CORRUPT as certainly as PURE EVIL! CHRISTIAN, be SALT AND LIGHT in the PUBLIC SQUARE. Pastor, PREACH with BOLDNESS and DO NOT fear the words of man! Were not the apostles BEATEN and forbidden of the authorities to PREACH the TRUTH? What would THEY have thought about a “tax exempt status?” What DOES GOD THINK when a man of God WITHHOLDS from preaching the WHOLE COUNSEL of GOD for fear of what some bureaucrats or FALSE brethren think? False Shepard, preaching health and wealth, name and claim, I’m-ok-you’re-ok, the social gospel! Joel OSTEEN! Rick WARREN! Read your Bibles! GOD IS RIGHTEOUS! PREACH repentance to your congregations! Preach Heaven AND HELL! Preach repentance! The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Knowledge!

Why all this talk of churches and God? CHURCHES, the American REVOLUTION was STARTED by PASTORS, pulpits aflame with the WHOLE WORD OF GOD! Do you cower before man, or do you tremble before GOD? We OUGHT to SERVE GOD rather than man! Serving GOD has its eternal reward, fearing man will leave your works burned up and desolate before GOD’s alter! A godly nation exalts freedom, exudes freedom! Freedom under the atheistic Soviet Union? Communist China? North Korea? Freedom under Iran? Sure, if you’re willing to live in bondage as a dhimmi under Sharia LAW!

I WANT GOD TO BLESS AMERICA! But the sad truth is that if America fails to return to the GOD of her founders, the God that lifted her up, the God that is the Author and Finisher of our faith, then we will be given up to our own destruction. Time is VERY SHORT! REPENT and get to work! Pastor, take a stand! laymen, get involved! Be SALT and LIGHT in the public square! SEEK after office. Be a REAL public SERVANT, for God himself said, let he who would be GREAT among you, let him be SERVANT of ALL! Serve God with all your heart! It is different from being enslaved to man! Service to God is a CHOICE! Service to your country and her people is a CHOICE! Public Servant, FORSAKE false balances, deal with HONESTY! SAY WHAT YOU REALLY MEAN! Being in office does NOT mean forsaking your FAITH! Take a stand!

Let us declare this a day of Independence, remembering the SACRIFICES made by PAST GENERATIONS that we might have freedom from the bonds of tyranny and oppression. Thank you, Obama!

Dear Mr Obama,

We the people would like to thank you for doing something that no president or leader has been able to do for decades. You have helped to organize a diverse community, young and old, black and white, rich and poor in a common cause: to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Thank you for taking such bold and brazen actions, you have pulled the wool off of the eyes of millions, who now see clearly for the first time that the liberties countless Americans have fought and died for are being taken away by those who have sworn a sacred oath to uphold and defend them.

Thank you for showing us the value of organizing, and we are organizing. Not to pit one class against another, but in the defense of our common liberty.

Liberty, not handouts is the birthright of every American. You have aided and abetted the largest expansion of government control since FDR instituted the New Deal. Though some scoff at the term, we will call it what it is: Socialism. It is the antithesis of what has made America great. The first pilgrims came to this country to flee tyranny and escape the hand of a government that would not let them worship according to the dictates of their conscience.

Today, we are standing in opposition to a government that is, by tax and inflation, seizing ever larger portions of our sustenance and consuming it on unsustainable programs, programs which are not only unconstitutional, but which only serve to consolidate power and enslave the poorest among us. Our forefathers would weep.

The founding generation took up arms to cast of a wild and unruly government that, after years of pleas and petitions, failed to recognize the inalienable rights of the colonists.

The citizens of America during the Civil War fought and died to rededicate the promise that all men are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Life and Liberty are the same things we seek today, for all Americans.

We will continue this fight with the ballot and the pen. It does not take an Ivy League degree to run for office, to organize, or to understand the difference between liberty and tyranny. We pledge our lives, our fortunes and our Sacred Honor to work tirelessly to restore the Republic. Along with apathy, we cast off silence and inaction long ago.

They say you don’t know what you have until it is gone. We thank you for repeating time and again your intentions. We know now that they were not “just words.” You are “fundamentally transforming” America. The fundamental base of America is our Constitution. We do not want what you want- a constitution that tells “what the government must do on your behalf.” That is exactly what the Soviet Union had.

Thank you for showing us just how much we have in common, and for moving us to rally. We as Americans have broken out of our solitary apathy and started talking again, and realized that despite the attempts to divide us, whether by race or age or party, we have more in common than we ever realized before! Whatever parties we may be registered under, we are all proud members of the Party of No. No more deficit spending. No more violating our constitution. No more unfunded mandates. No more ABC bureaus or agencies. No more usurping our individual and states’ rights!

Thank you once again for serving as the tipping point which finally organized the American community to rally in defense of our God given rights embedded in our Constitution.

Our cause is just, and as our forefathers did, we place our firm reliance on Divine Providence. We want our country back, and we will gladly and thankfully let you keep your change in return.

How low can you go?

Apparently the “Coffee Party” positive approach hasn’t worked out, so now some “progressives” are using dirty tactics so effectively employed by none other than Communists during the cold war: Infiltration and hijacking.

These progressives are terribly concerned about three things:

1. There aren’t enough racists in the tea party.

2. There aren’t enough idiots in the tea party.

3. There aren’t enough psychos in the tea party.

Yeah, it kind of hurts your credibility when the defense of your position consists on solely attacking the credibility of your opposition. So what do you do when you’re proven wrong again and again? Reconsider your position? No! You infiltrate your opposition and create the nutjobs you’ve been so desperately craving. And the media, which still has some tingles in its leg for the president who has done historic destruction to the US constitution, can be more than expected to give the camera to these subversives and aid and abet their attempts to slander the opposition.

This is probably the most juvenile political maneuver I’ve heard of. I wasn’t too fond of the concept of “operation chaos either, but this is way beyond that. In that one, people were exercising their right to vote (I feel they threw away their vote). In this one, we have malicious individuals attempting to slander and deny people their right to freedom of speech and peaceable assembly, hijacking their assemblies to mine data and plot against honest Americans. How many conservatives do you know who attempted to infiltrate and subvert Organizing for America?

These people are actively attempting to subvert our constitutional rights because they don’t like what we’re saying and the fact that we resonate too well with mainstream America!

Lastly, we must not allow these evil men to destroy the camaraderie that develops when men and women are united for a common cause. Their attempts to subvert cannot undermine the unique spirit that dominates most meetings and rallies that I’ve been too. Reaching out always has its risks, but we must not be afraid of inviting out new people. Perhaps by our good witness, we can even win over some of those would be subversives!

Lets talk about race.

Its easy to talk about racists, to throw that toxic label onto your opponents when they don’t agree with you. The left loves to call conservatives racist, and talk about how Hitler was a right winger. Lets look at some of those enlightened folks on the left, and see what they say, when they likely haven’t had, or taken, time to carefully consider statements.

Chris Matthews: “For an hour I forgot he was black.

Joe Biden: “clean and articulate“

Harry Reid: “light skinned and no negro dialect“

How many conservatives do you know who go around saying those kind of things? The media would never stop talking about them. Obama appealed relentlessly to the race guilt of modern liberals by saying things of himself such as “He doesn’t look like the other presidents on the dollar bills.” and “Skinny black man with a funny name. By and large, it is liberals who have worked to keep race at the forefront of politics, especially since the run up to the 2008 elections. the incessant drumbeat of the “historic election.”

Now what about the favorite posterboy of “right wing racism,” Adolf Hitler. Was he really “right wing” in the sense that American leftists imply?

Consider the following:

Did hitler promote a limited government and separation of powers?

Did Hitler believe in the right to keep and bear arms?

Did Hitler believe in Religious liberty?

Did Hitler believe in Freedom of the press?

Did Hitler promote economic freedom and private property?

No! Hitler promoted a totalitarian government (which makes sense once you consider Nazi is short for National Socialist German Worker’s Party). He boasted of the fact that under him Germany, for the first time had full gun registration. He persecuted the Jews and muzzled the churches. Opposition newspapers operating openly in Nazi Germany- ha! The claim that Hitler is “right wing” in the American sense is absurd. In fact, the swastikas that scared poor Nanci Pelosi present at tea parties had a “slash” through them, like the no smoking sign. They were part of a protest against totalitarian government, like the kind of government both Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union had.

Now I pose another question, who has been using race as a bludgeon? Does anyone remember how the Obama Justice Department mysteriously dropped the charges of voter intimidation against the New Black Panthers who were parading around with a weapon making threatening racist comments in front of a polling place? Have you ever heard such racist statements as “credit to your race” or “articulate and clean” or “hey I forgot he was black for an hour” or “he appealed because he was light skinned and had no negro dialect?” In case you think the New Black Panthers are sincere in their claims of non violence/intimidation, check out their Nationalist Manifesto, which really echos Hitler’s racial supremacy delusions (and empty rejection of Communists) and rails against white people and makes the claim that Black people have no place in America. As to their claim of not “actively campaigning” for Obama, check out the cover of their magazine here.

The progressives have tried to make it about skin so as to avoid the war of ideologies. Hitler spun the economic woes of Germany as a tale of the Jewish people gone wild, and the paradigm was skewed towards the euphoria of eloquent speeches and initially a few drops of “it’s their fault” racism which grew to become the consuming passion of Hitler’s tyranny. Today ignorant and evil men attempt to use race to divide us. To keep we the people at perpetual war with each other, even after the election that was supposed to usher in a post-racial era.

To the Christian, the Bible says God hath made of one blood all nations of man and that God is no respecter of persons. To the American, our Constitution was written to fulfill the testament of the Declaration of Independence, that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with Inalienable Rights. The corruptions introduced as politicians tried to patch up the slavery issue without addressing the root sin were not the fault or original intent of the founders. Thomas Jefferson trembled when he thought of slavery and the justice of God.

To the liberal I ask: will you stop making this about race? Of the many people I’ve talked to and met with, I have yet to hear someone opposing these unconstitutional and immoral policies because the man pushing for them is black. To those few that do*, their ignorance will consume them, for at the very least, racism is contrary to the principles of freedom and individualism, not to mention a crime against God.

Conservatism is an ideology, not a party. Not all republicans are conservative, and not all conservatives are republicans. And one of the greatest myths of modern politics, not all conservatives are white! The man the media portrayed as being a “racist threat” to Obama, was in fact, a black man joining in a rally to stand up for second amendment rights! Those who continue to promote the myths that the Tea Parties are about race, or health care protesters are bigots, or that conservatism itself somehow breeds racism are either ignorant of the movements and should have done more research, or have malicious intent and are hoping to keep brother fighting brother while the rights of all of us, black and white and in-between.

United we stand, divided we fall. Reject the sparks of race war the media and “mainstream” media are trying to ignite.

* the only group I have found that claims to be conservative is the council of conservative citizens, which somehow mixes the putrid collectivist ideology of race superiority/separatism with claims of individualism and freedom. At least the New Black Panthers make no such claims and embrace a wholly collectivist ideology. See my complete refutation of their “statement of principles” here.

The Parental Rights Amendment: A trojan horse

Here is the amendment, which purports to protect parental rights and, on a glance actually appears to do so.

Section 1. The liberty of parents to direct the upbringing and education of their children is a fundamental right.

Section 2. Neither the United States nor any State shall infringe upon this right without demonstrating that its governmental interest as applied to the person is of the highest order and not otherwise served.

Section 3. No treaty may be adopted nor shall any source of international law be employed to supersede, modify, interpret, or apply to the rights guaranteed by this article.

Sections one and three are very good, and would appear to protect the rights of parents to train up their children according to the dictates of their conscience.

However, look again at section 2:

Section 2. Neither the United States nor any State shall infringe upon this right without demonstrating that its governmental interest as applied to the person is of the highest order and not otherwise served.

Notice how it does not make an exception for the life or abuse of the child, but for “governmental interest.” This amendment would give, for the first time, Constitutional authority for the government- federal, state or local- to seize ANY child for ANY reason. Section 2 with the nebulous terminology “governmental interest” effectively makes sections one and two non-existent. Considering the current congress and president’s obsession with “hate crimes” is it really that far fetched for such a administration, or a succeeding one, to deem a “governmental interest” in ensuring that children do not grow up with “divisive” and “disruptive” intolerant views on sexuality and gender identity, or perhaps “backwards and antisocial” views on private property and capitalism? This amendment, under the right regime, could be used to enact a defacto ban on home or private schooling if it was decided that such activities do not serve the “highest order” of the government’s interest. This amendment must be opposed at all levels

This amendment, if added to the Constitution will deal a severe blow to parental rights, surrendering a great portion of parental authority to the government. Here is the official explanation of this section from the amendment’s website, parentalrights.org:

SECTION TWO

Neither the United States nor any State shall infringe upon this right without demonstrating that its governmental interest as applied to the person is of the highest order and not otherwise served.

SUMMARY: While parental rights do not include a right to commit child abuse or neglect, they are due the same high legal protection as other fundamental rights.

Notice that the summary they provide includes specific examples: abuse/neglect. “Governmental interest,” while it COULD mean those things, cannot be logically or honestly claimed to be limited to those things. We are talking about politicians that have difficulty interpreting easy to understand phrases as “right to bear arms.” They will have a heyday with “governmental interest.” Just look what they’ve done with the commerce clause:

Because fundamental rights are so important to our freedom as Americans, the government must meet a heightened burden of proof in order to restrict those rights. In legal terms, the government’s case begins with a positive demonstration – they must prove that there is a government interest in restricting the right, and that the government has a specific interest in restricting the right of the particular parents whose actions are being challenged. In early 2006, the U.S. Supreme Court used this very language when talking about violations of religious liberty. According to the Court, the government must “demonstrate that the compelling interest test is satisfied through application of the challenged law ‘to the person’–the particular claimant whose sincere exercise of religion is being substantially burdened.” Gonzales v. O Centro Espirito Beneficiente Uniao do Vegetal, 548 U.S. 418, 430-431 (2006). The text of this proposed parental rights amendment merely takes this well-established principle of law, and applies it explicitly to the fundamental right of parents.

Yes, it is called due process. Life liberty or property shall not be taken without due process, regardless of the “governmental interest.” This amendment does not provide any such “heightened burden of proof,” merely that the government thinks its interest in the child is greater than the parent’s and is not being served by the parents. It sets a very low bar, and leaves parental rights at the mercy of liberal bureaucrats and other social engineers.

In 1972, the U.S. Supreme Court held that in order for the state of Wisconsin to override the rights of Amish parents, the government had to show that it had a compelling interest in requiring students to stay in school until age 16. Speaking of the right of the parents, the Court said that “the essence of all that has been said and written on the subject is that only those interests of the highest order and those not otherwise served can overbalance legitimate claims to the free exercise of religion.” Wisconsin v. Yoder, 406 U.S. 205, 215 (1972) (emphasis added).

The Supreme Court has required the government to follow this standard whenever there is a violation of a fundamental right. Prominent examples of this are cases that deal with racial discrimination (see Adarand v. Pena, 515 U.S. 200, 227 (1995): “All racial classifications, imposed by whatever federal, state, or local governmental actor, must be analyzed by a reviewing court under strict scrutiny. . . . Such classifications are constitutional only if they are narrowly tailored measures that further compelling governmental interests”), restrictions on free speech (see Widmar v. Vincent, 254 U.S. 263, 269-270 (1982): Whenever discriminating against speech on the basis of its content, the government “must show that its regulation is necessary to serve a compelling state interest and that it is narrowly drawn to achieve that end”), and invidious discrimination against religion (see Church of the Lukumi Babalu Aye, Inc., v. Hialeah, 508 U.S. 520, 546 (1993): “To satisfy the commands of the First Amendment, a law restrictive of religious practice must advance ‘interests of the highest order’ and must be narrowly tailored in pursuit of those interests.” In all these cases, the government must prove that it has a compelling interest, before the fundamental freedom at stake can be limited.

Again, this amendment does not spell out what “governmental interest” actually means, and leaves the door open to great federal abuse of this newly codified interest. The focus on religious practice here readily suggests that section 2 could be used to remove children from christian or other families that believe homosexuality or other behaviors are immoral and against God. The reason that would be cited is a “governmental interest” of the highest order in “promoting diversity and inclusiveness” and fostering a “tolerant society.”

We tend to read into a bill that we want to like those things that would make it likable. The reality of this would be amendment is that it opens the legal door to massive federal interference in the rights of parents to raise their children. And as far as the “UN Convention on the rights of the child,” Section 2 of this amendment makes section 3, professing to forbid treaties undermining parental authority moot- if said treaty is “in the utmost interest of the Government.”

This Amendment, as well as the UN Convention on the rights of the Child must be opposed by all who love freedom and want to raise up their children according to the laws of nature and Nature’s God.

The Crisis of the 9/11 terrorist trial.

The real tragedy of this trial is a that it is a lose-lose.

1. By going to civil court, the rights of the constitution* are bestowed upon non-citizens who attacked us, and freely confessed to doing so. This unconstitutional precedent could be used as a legal basis to grant constitutional rights to illegal immigrants.

2. They have been denied Miranda rights, while being promised all rights. To mix things like this, could set a precedent that “legal” rulings could be reached in a court where a citizen has been denied one or more of their legal rights. Which of your rights would you be willing to have violated and still get a “legal” guilty verdict.

3. This trial is being help up by Team Obama as a shining example of the fairness and impartiality of the US legal system. However, Eric Holder has promised that these people are so guilty that they will never be found innocent, and even if they are acquitted that they will still be held. This in itself is damning in a couple of ways (Mega-dittos go to Rush Limbaugh for opening up this line of thought regarding this show trial):

1. How can it be “fair and impartial” if the verdict is certain? Other countries, and especially the Muslim world will be able to use this as bonafide proof that the US court system is biased, increasing resentment of the US.

2. It will set the precedent that people acquitted from a crime will be able to be held. This must certainly be Obama’s way to bring “prolonged detention” into the legal frame work of the United States.

The way this trial is being conducted the main disaster is not that constitutional rights are being given to non-citizens, but that very dangerous precedents are being set up to deny constitutional rights to Americans.

I hope it is becoming clear to even the most ardent supporters of Obama that he is systematically undermining not only our economic freedoms, but our other Constitutional rights as well. He is grossly violating his oath of office, perjury.

Listen to his attack on the literal interpretation of the Constitution intended by our founding fathers when they authored it.

*these are above and beyond basic human rights. No one would argue that human beings deserve basic human rights regardless of citizenship, however, that does not include access to tax payer funded attorneys, the court system, 3 meals, room and board @ tax payer’s expense day in the US prison system, freedom to be given a venue to denounce the US, or Miranda rights.
